Mike Mitchell’s, “Just Like Us”
Mike Mitchell’s first solo show, Just Like Us, opened this past weekend and it was phenomenal. If you’re not lucky enough to drop by Gallery 1988 Melrose in Los Angeles, California you can browse all the artwork right here. There are prints available for most every piece and if you’re quick you can grab yourself an original! Congratulations Mike!

I’ve been messing around with Paper for the iPad. It’s like a digital Moleskine for sketching and taking notes with a very clean and intuitive UI. I’m liking it so far.
Edward Scissorhands and Cut Man both know that feel, when it comes to being burdened permanently with annoying scissor appendages.
Check out more of Chris Gerringer’s hilarious series here.

Wintery Light Skeletons by Janne Parviainen
Janne’s recent light graffiti works seem to be taking place on the Day of the Dead under the Northern Lights. Daww, they’re trying to make Snow Skeletons!

Retro Muppet Concert Posters by Michael de Pippo
Artist writes: “I love the Muppets. And with the movie coming out in the next couple of months, there is no better time for a fun little side project involving the best band ever conceived: Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.
My idea was simple; create a vintage concert poster for each band member (Dr. Teeth, Janice, Sgt. Floyd Pepper, Zoot and Animal). Using clean, crisp vectors, negative space and few colours, I wanted to keep them as simple and stylized as possible; reminiscent of retro posters from back in the day.
Please note, my designs are not licensed by Disney. My intention is not to make money off of them. They were done as a homage for my love of the Muppets.”
